The Developer Team
We are a varied, experienced and somewhat unusual group. Here's a brief glimpse of the people on our team:
- Mike Adams, whose family has lived in San Juan County since 1879, and who has farmed and stewarded this specific property for several years
- John Bell, an experienced builder and developer of subdivisions in Utah
- Kathy Hammons, an expert on assisting communities to organize and prepare for wildfires
- John Kesler, a seasoned real estate lawyer who is known nationally for his leadership in creating healthy communities
- David Neves, an experienced developer of recreational properties who is also an executive in a large western firm
- John Talbott, an environmental engineer who has designed state-of-the-art green buildings, water treatment systems and green building materials on three continents
- Meg Wheatley, an internationally known expert and author on community development, sustainability and leadership
For us, Elk Meadows is not at all a traditional real estate development. It is our opportunity to create healthy communities, to deepen the sense of peace and harmony of this land, and to develop environmentally-intelligent solutions for how we use natural resources.
We encourage you to read our vision and values statements, and to take a close look at our amenities. They communicate in greater detail what we're intent on accomplishing for Elk Meadows.
Our vision for Elk Meadows is bold, innovative and achievable. Because of the depth of our experience, our past track records, and our good teamwork, we feel confident that we can bring this vision into reality. In fact, we already are.
